Our Bio Farm

The Frenner family, that has been living on this farm for generations, welcomes you to visit their beautiful bio farm “Lü De Pincia”.
Margareth and Georg Frenner, Thomas, Simon, Johanna.

Our bio farm LÜ DE PINCIA is a typical Ladin farm at 1.100 m a.s.l. in the Badia valley not far from S.Vigilio di Marebbe in Southtyrol. Stating from 2009 we can claim a bio certificate for the farm with regular inspections by Biko Tirol.

In our farm shop we sell produce like jams from wild plums, raspberry, black currant, apple and other fruit that we pick at full ripeness, as well as honey and mead from our own apiary. From the herbs and medicinal plants, which we grow and handpick, we produce various mixtures of herb teas, salts and cushions.

Following the principle “From the region for the region” we sell through the organisation Bio*Beef Südtirol, of which we are a member, the tasty meat from our biologically raised cattle.

Mead (honey-wine)
Selected honey is fermented with spring water to humanity’s oldest alcoholic drink. This “devine” drink takes a year to mature before it is filled in bottles to 0.5 and 0.2 l and displayed for sale in our farm shop. We produce a sweet and a medium variety.
Mead is an excellent dessert wine that goes well with sweet dishes and equally with cheese.
  • Sweet 0.5 l

Herbs
In the year 2001 Margareth completed the required training to herb expert and has kept up to date in her subject ever since.
She picks the herbs when at their best, dries them and carefully mixes them to teasherb salts and fills cushions.
